HUMANITIES

After calling together for over a decade and have many requests to produce a CD we have done just that.

In September of 2007 Jeff and Debbie along with their "caller haulers" Ron Steinkirchner & Debbie Palmer traveled up to FTM studios in Denver Colorado and laid down fifteen tracks of some of their favorite and most requested songs.

The visit to FTM studios was interesting and exciting as it is a full time professional sound recording studio that has recorded some top names in the business.  With a layout plan in mind the recording went very well and all fifteen songs were wrapped up in about four hours! Pretty good for a couple of amateurs!  The studio personnel were fantastic and we were out the door with a master CD.

After contacting several CD producers and wrestling with some licensing issues Jeff & Debbie hired Tom Dillander of Palomino Records to press and make "retail ready" our CD. Jeff did the art work for the front and rear covers, Tom Dillander designed the CD label, and both Jeff & Debbie worked out the details of the liner notes.  We never realized that so much went into such a project.

All licensing issues were solved and Jeff & Debbie's BMI & ASCAP licenses along with the purchase of a mechanical license for each song made us all legal beagles so we were ready to go.  

In early October we received a partial shipment of our CD just in time for the Waggin' Wheeler 50th Anniversary dance. They sold very well and over half of our first shipment was gone in one night! Wow! Thank you dancers! Our complete shipment has arrived and in such a short time over half of these are gone! Again we thank you so much as the "word of mouth" advertising has been a blessing attesting to the high quality production of the CD.

As an update all of the first CD shipment are gone!
We have had a second pressing and these are now available.

They are available from the Palmer's and the Steinkirchner's for the meager sum of $10.00. As a side note Tom Dillander of Palomino Records was so impressed with the production he has decided to carry this CD in his inventory!  Wow thanks Tom!
